Advocacy program development & association building

AlphaAdvocacy encompasses WAB’s work developing advocacy programs from their earliest stages. The team’s experience spans decades and includes building several industry associations from concept to functioning organizations—turning an initial idea into a defined mission, an organizational structure, and a program of work.

This work begins at the foundation: identifying the shared purpose that brings an industry together, establishing how participants work together, and developing the advocacy programs the association will carry out. Building the association and building its programs are connected responsibilities. The result is an organizational framework that can support successive initiatives, rather than a single project.

AlphaAdvocacy brings this organizational experience together with WAB’s work in technology, data, and contact programs. Its scope includes new program development, association formation, and the operating models that support continued advocacy.

Led by partner Jesse Kamzol, AlphaData turns complex voter, consumer, behavioral, and engagement data into intelligence you can act on. Advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and WAB’s proprietary data management platform help organizations understand their audiences, direct their resources, and measure what works.

Kamzol brings more than 15 years of experience building and leading large-scale data operations across political, commercial, and technology organizations. As Chief Data Officer of the Republican National Committee from 2015–2017, he directed national data strategy across more than 300 terabytes of production data and 3.8 petabytes of internal data. His work encompassed voter-data pipelines, predictive modeling, microtargeting, geographic analysis and mapping, turnout analysis, data enhancement, and real-time campaign analytics.

Many of the concepts behind AlphaData were forged during the 2016 presidential campaign cycle. Founder Shannon Burns worked as an in-house consultant for Donald J. Trump for President while Kamzol served as the RNC’s Chief Data Officer. Their respective roles connected campaign operations with the national party’s data, targeting, analytics, and technology infrastructure—experience that continues to inform WAB’s approach.

Kamzol subsequently brought that expertise into commercial and technology organizations, leading work with petabyte-scale data warehouses, machine-learning systems, and predictive and behavioral models. His experience spans large consumer, media, and political datasets, work supporting more than 25 political and commercial clients, and data-driven strategy and marketing for Fortune 500 companies.

AlphaData brings that depth to the full data lifecycle: acquiring and integrating information; resolving identities and managing records; enriching data and building models; developing and deploying audiences; and measuring results to continuously improve the next effort. Large-scale live calling programs

AlphaLive is WAB’s live calling service, drawing on the team’s experience operating programs for Republican candidates and corporate advocacy organizations. Calls are conducted by live callers; AlphaCloud is the separate automated calling platform.

The team’s campaign experience includes live calling work during the 2016 Donald J. Trump for President campaign, when founder Shannon Burns worked as a campaign consultant based at Trump Tower.
